Field List versus Field Attributes
To maintain field attributes, you can use the Element List.
Another way you can maintain field attributes is using the Attributes pushbutton.
With this option, you can maintain all of the attributes for one particular field on the
screen at a time.

The graphical screen painter is activated by the following menu path when in
flow logic: Utilities->Settings go to the tab called Screen Painter and check
the Graphical Layout Editor box.

Graphical Editor Editing Functions
Here is an example of how to use the screen painter to create a simple
screen using a: Box, Text Field & Input/Output field.

Radio Buttons
To create a radio button in the Fullscreen Editor use the radio button icon to drag
and drop the radio buttons where you would like them to appear.
You will need to define them as a group
in order to ensure that they are mutually
exclusive.

Check Boxes
To create a check box in the Fullscreen Editor use the check box icon to drag and
drop the check boxes where you would like them to appear.

Boxes/Frames
To create a box in the Fullscreen Editor use the Box icon to drag and drop the
frame where you would like it to appear.
Boxes are created with a title at the top of the box.

Pushbuttons
To create a pushbutton in the Fullscreen Editor use the pushbutton icon to drag
and drop the pushbutton where you would like it to appear.

Pushbuttons must be assigned a
function code. You can also define
a function type for a pushbutton.

Scrollable Fields
scrollable field
Scrollable fields have a visible length that is
smaller than the defined length.
Input/output templates that are character-based (i.e., not data types DEC, INT1,
INT2, INT4, TIMS, DATS, QUAN, or CURR) can be made into scrollable fields.
These lengths are
attributes of a field.

If you assign a search help to an
input/output template, you will see a
drop-down arrow to get a list of
possible values (F4).

Search help is an attribute
of a field. It can only be used
on input/output templates.

Summary
