What is leadership?
Is it a skill, an art, or a process?

Some says, leadership is a skill for
influencing a person or more to do a job
cooperately with others.
Leadership as an art....
The art of working (knowing, desiring,
active to do some actions) with and
through other people
The art of fulfilling needs by cooperating
with other people
The art of making wishes map containing
the future of organization and translate it
into reality.

Leadership as a process...
A complicated process where someone
should influence and motivate another
person to do a mission, job, or aim and
direct the organization to be more
effective and efficient.
Is there any correlation between
leadership and management?
The answer is definitely absolutely, yes.
Leadership held an important role in
management. Moreover, leadership is
the core of management.
All leaders have the skill to lead
others well, is that true?
Theoritically, the answer should be yes.
In fact, not all the people who become
leaders have the skill to lead or have
leadership.
On the other side, people who have the
ability to lead others, have no
opportunity to be a leader in a real
meaning.

This theory exists among nobles.

E.g Someone who can replace a king is his
son or daughter.
Social Theory
Ability to lead others can be gained
through the infuence of situation and
condition of society.
Everybody can be a leader as long as he
has the ability that can be sharpen by
education, experience, and training.
This theory is aplicable in democracy era.
