LO 2-
There are two types of jihad
Greater Jihad
Lesser Jihad.
It applies to any sort of activity carried out by a
person because of a love of Allah

Greater Jihad: Struggle to
overcome evil in ONES own life.



Lesser Jihad: Struggle in the
cause of ISLAM to overcome
injustice in society.


Think of some of the greater jihads you might come across in your life...
"The best jihad [struggle] is (by) the one who
strives against his own self for Allah, The
Mighty and Majestic,

mean?
The most excellent
Jihad is the Hajj.

Greater Jihad
Some Muslims interpret verses from the
Quran to mean different things.
Its all about perception, how people see
things differently.



Fight in the way of Allah those who fight
you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah
does not like transgressors. (Surah
2:190)

peaceful
