Performance with
Detachment
A detached performer identifies
with accomplishment and not
with what is accomplished.
(c) Chinmaya Mission
Gitas guidance
In this (Detached performance) there is no loss of
effort, nor is there any harm (contrary result). Even a
little performance protects one from great fear.
You can choose your action.
You cannot choose the result of action.
You can choose your reaction.
May you not be without action.
The essence of Karma Yoga
Philosophy @ Work
(c) Chinmaya Mission
Intention @ work
Human mind
is like a parachute. It works
better when it is open!
Often Ask to
yourself:
What am I doing?

Why am I doing?

How am I doing?
Is it related to
what
I would like to
achieve?
Can I
delegate
this to
Someone?
Can I do something
differently without
disturbing the
Output?
(c) Chinmaya Mission
Leading by living
Whatever a great man does, that other
men also imitate; whatever he sets up
as the standard, that the world follows.
Bhagavad-Gita 3.21
(c) Chinmaya Mission
How to recognize a leader?
In his presence, others feel an urge to follow
him.
Ready to accomplish some goal under his
directions.
A leader stimulates, motivates and inspires to
follow.
He does ordinary things extra-ordinarily.
He is part of the group he leads and does not
remote-control.
He finds ideas by discussing with his group

Action creates external result of success; intention
creates internal result of peace.
Action without noble intention does not lead to
