Eligible students may apply for a study permit in Canada to gain Canadian

application for PNP doesnt need to have a pointing system to
be eligible and job does not have to be in the same field of
study.

Canadian Experience Class


An alternate option for international student is to apply under
the Canadian Experience Class if you have studied and live in
Canada for quite a while and able to work in a skilled
employment in any event of 12 months in the three years
before you apply for Canadian Experience Class and meet
minimum level of CLB 7 of your language skills and able to
acquire experience on skilled employment from Canadian
National Occupational Classification (NOC) i.e Managerial
jobs (NO skill type 0), Professional jobs (NOC skill type A)
and Technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B). This
type of pathway in obtaining Permanent Residence in Canada
is subject to number of capped of each of occupation on skilled
employment and application is through the express entry.

Checklist
All documents submitted in support of your application must be ORIGINAL. And

A medical exam will be required for study program exceeding 6 months.
Completed Application form for a study Permit (IMM1294) & list your spouse
/common-law partner and all your children less than 18 years of age.
Completed family information (IMM5465) for all applicants 18 years of age or
over.
Two (2) passport photographs of yourself and each family member requesting a
visa with the name printed on the back dated and taken in the past 6 months.
Managers Check payable to Embassy of Canada, Manila P 6,100.00. Original
passport for yourself and each family member requesting a visa.
Original letter of Acceptance from your educational institute in Canada. stating
unconditional admission, course title, duration of study, level of study and start date
(multiple start dates, if applicable ) latest possible date of admission.
Official fee schedule which includes tuition, accommodation and meal plans,
miscellaneous expenses, (medical insurance, books, memberships).

Covering letter- A personal study plan: a description of your proposed program of studies as it
relates to your academic, technical, or vocational background.

Proof of Employment- letter from your current or past employer and payslips (last 3 months).
Employment letter dated within 2 months of the application indicating occupation, job
description, position, salary, allowances, years of employment, and authorized leave dates.

NBI Certificate
Proof of Funds: You must submit evidence of sufficient funds to cover your travel 1st year
tuition and expenses while in Canada( as well as costs for your dependents if applicable). This
evidence should include, but is not limited to , financial documents such as income tax
documents bank records for the last 24 months.
If someone other than yourself or your parents are providing funding you may provide .
Reference letter:

From the individual(s) providing you financial assistance for your program. The letter must indicate how they are
employed, their occupation, their relationship to you, their number of dependants, and their full contact details.
From the employer of the individual(s) providing you financial assistance for your program. The letter should include the
employers contact details and the full address of the business.
Evidence of their financial ability: verifiable information from a third party source of your assistors income, such as: a copy
of current valid pension; proof of income from rental properties; proof of interest from bank accounts; a certified letter from
bank regarding participation bonds.
If financial assistance is being provided by someone in Canada, you may provide proof of their immigration status, such as a
copy of the citizenship card or Permanent Resident Card.
Use of Representative form (IMM 5476), if someone is assisting you in completing your
Application or you would like someone to do business with our office on your behalf.
If you have paid tuition fees, you may provide proof of any tuition paid in advance. (Note that this is not required).
Proof of Business if you are self employed. Provide business registration, tax clearance
Certificates, trade certificates, license and financial documents. (certified business bank statement with 6 months history up
to application submission date)
