SECTION 1
Pros:
People are the ruler thus it is more peaceful
There are manifestations of democratic and

republican state
There is sovereignty
Cons:
Corruption
Tendency that the government will not be

transparent thus there will be abuses


Some people of revolt are paid

Pros:
Peace among nations and within the nations
Unites nations
This allows the Philippines to be involved in

globalization
Cons:
Disadvantage to the countries who maintain it
Some countries will not listen to it or take it as

an advantage
The country cant go full power to track the
terrorist

SECTION 3
Pros:
Civilians are protected
Maintain sovereignty
Nationalistic and patriotic spirit increases

Cons:
Tendency to be taken advantage by the

civilians
Laws that can violate human rights such as
the Martial Law
Inadequate resources of the Philippine Army

SECTION 4
Pros:
Military and civil service by the people
Cooperation of the citizen
Self-preservation

Cons:
Country will be beset with formidable social

and economic problems


Problems with poverty and massive
unemployment
Government may be corrupt

SECTION 5
Pros:
There is independence
Promotion of general welfare or the common

good
Power for the protection of the people
Cons:
Maintenance of peace and order
Peoples cooperation is not guaranteed
Military authority may be abused

SECTION 6
Pros:
Separation of church and state
Has their own rules and policy
Education is more on the universe and not

just based on religion


Cons:
Church may interfere on some of the state

policies
Disagreement between church and state
Some programs of the church that need
financial supported cannot be directly
supported by the government

SECTION 7
Pros:
To establish friendly relations with all countries of the world

regardless of the race, religion, ideology and social system


and promote beneficial relations
An instrument of domestic policy (a sole weapon of a state
for the promotion of national interest in international affairs)
the paramount of consideration of the Philippines shall be
national sovereignty, territorial integrity, , national interest
and the right to self-determination
Cons:
The national interest will not be served by trying to deal

with regional and international issues in absolute terms

Pros:
Subject to national interest
Prohibit the use of every form of medicine,

agriculture and any other beneficial purpose


Dangerous nuclear weapons that endanger the
Filipino people are restricted
Cons:
The making, storing and manufacturing of nuclear

weapons inside the country


Use of territorial levels as dumping sites for
radioactive wastes
To transit within our territory of ships or planes with
nuclear weapons

SECTION 9
Pros:
Ensure prosperity and independence
Free the people from poverty
Promote possibility of full employment

Cons:
Corruption
Slow implementation of programs
Money is not easily distributed

SECTION 10
Pros:
The less fortunate are given fair justice
All are supposedly equal before the law
Communication between the government

and the people


Cons:
Limited access to resources
Scarcity of resources
Social justice is rarely exercised nowadays

SECTION 11
Pros:
The individual enjoys certain rights which cannot be

modified or taken away by the lawmaking body


These rights are guaranteed or recognized because of the
belief in the inherent dignity and worth of every human
being
This section takes under its wing the dignity of every
human being and guarantees full respect for human
rights and thus providing more support or foundation to
the human rights
Cons:
Some revolutionaries will take advantage of their rights
Human rights are not safe from corruption
Safety of people are still not guaranteed

SECTION 12
Pros:
supports the natural and primary right and duty of

parents in rearing the youth


gives constitutional basis to the family as a basic
autonomous social constitution
this section protects the unborn child being conceived
Cons:
The sacrifice of the life of the unborn is not abortion when

necessary to save the life of a mother


Unprepared pregnant women considering that they are
not medically incapable, cannot abort unwanted
pregnancy
Legalization of abortion by future legislation is prevented
by this section

SECTION 13
Pros:
Today's youth are more knowledgeable and

intelligent
Develops and educates the youth to
constitute their usefulness in the future
Today's youth are trained better in being
tomorrow's leaders
