Steps Involved
A cost of material from SSR for pre assessed quatities for a set
of M/C deployed.
(taxes included,sand etc.rate at quarry,cement etc rate at
comm.centre.
B manufacturer data,50mnts. Working for 1 hr.for Hire Charges
with available guidelines
C labour to match output of M/C (no LA&LI),add addl.allowance
for municipality etc.

A. Preface (10 paras)
It is not necessary to sign APDSS for every Agt.by contractor.
It is sufficient to send letter to contractor by post Registered with
a/c due to the address given by contractor.
B. BOQ (3 paras)
Increase and decrease is possible.
Tenderer to inspect site before tendering.
C. Drawings and specifications
1. To be supplied to contractor including revised.
2.Tolerance specified(say 1.5 mm for wood work)

D. Material and workmanship.

4.EE can ask for dismissal of any employee and contractor to oblige.

SSR
Contains rates of material,labour,hire charges of
machinery,Leads etc.
It is approved by BOCE.Headed by Engineer In Chief
It is revised every year and comes into effect from June 1st
It is mandatory to adopt these rates in datas by all the
departments
Any rate not contained in SSR is to be approved by
competent authority with due procedure.

IMPORTANT POINTS;
1.Lapse of sanction; 5 years.
2.Scope of sanction; shall not be altered.(Ex:Length of canal)
3.Revision of rates; to bring down tender % is not permitted.
4 Expenditure: Restrict to Admn.sanction amount.
5.Savings : Due to less tender goes as savings to estimate.
6.Admn.sanction: To be obtained in two stages.(GO 94.)
7.Tech.sanction powers EE: Rs.10L.Restrict to Admn.sanction.
8.Value of works to be taken up: Two times of budget for
and one and half times for O&M works.
