Understanding the Lie

Joh 8:44-45 You are of your father, the devil,
and you want to do the desires of your father.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and
doesn't stand in the truth, because there is
no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he
speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its
father. (45) But because I tell the truth, you
dont believe me.
Rev 20:2 He seized the dragon, the old
serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who
deceives the whole inhabited earth, and
bound him for a thousand years,

The Lie and the Truth

The serpent said to the woman, You wont surely die, for
God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be
opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

don't sin against the truth by boasting of your wisdom.
2Th 2:12 The result is that all who have not believed
the truth, but have taken pleasure in sin, will be condemned.

1Ki 8:38 whatever prayer and supplication is made
