KPO industry
Knowledge process outsourcing(KPO) describes theoutsourcingof
core information-related business activitieswhich are competitively
important or form an integral part of a company'svalue chain.
The National Association of Software and Service Companies
(NASSCOM) has predicted that India will acquire a 70% share in the
growing KPO Industry
Indian KPO market has been growing at a compounded annual
growth rate of approximately 30% and is expected to touch $30 billion
by 2015.

Recruitment meaning
The process of attracting individuals on timely
basis, in sufficient numbers, and with appropriate
qualifications and encourage them to apply for the
jobs in the organization
or
It also refers to the overall process of attracting,
selecting and appointing suitable candidates
forjobs (either permanent or temporary) within an
organization.

Step 1: Manpower Planning


Manpower Planning which is also called as Human Resource Planning
consists of putting right number of people, right kind of people at the
right place, right time, doing the right things for which they are suited
for the achievement of goals of the organization.
The procedure is as follows:

Analyzing the current manpower inventory


Making future manpower forecasts
Developing employment programmes
Design training programmes

Manpower Planning is a two-phased process because manpower


planning not only analyses the current human resources but also makes
manpower forecasts and thereby draw employment programmes

Step 2: Job Evaluation


Job Analysis is a process to identify and determine in detail the particular
job duties and requirements and the relative importance of these duties
for a given job. Job Analysis is a process where judgements are made
about data collected on a job.

Step 3: Manpower Requisition


Arequisitionis arequestfor something, especially a formal written
request on a pre-printed form. Manpower requisition form is used to
take approval from the higher authorities about the number of
employees to be hired and with what skill set and experience.
