Abstract :
In the present work, Optimization of CD nozzle for Inlet,
Outlet and Length is is carried out with the help of
commercial software-FLUENT.
Its Grid/Mesh is Created on Another Software named GAMBIT.
Computational analysis of standard 2-D C-D nozzle is carried
out for different flow conditions i.e. Inviscid, Laminar and
Turbulent.
Furthermore, Qualitative and Quantitative analysis
carried out with Validation to analytical solution.

Introduction :
Anozzleis a device designed to control
the direction or characteristics of afluid
flow as it exits (or enters) an enclosed
chamber.
The Function of the nozzle is to reduce the
pressure and increase the velocity.
Nozzle is used for different purposed like
Part cleaning, Chip removal, Part drying,
Material conveying ,Part ejection, For
rocket to provide sufficient thrust to move
upwards ,and in Aeronautical applications.
Key Words:
(Convergent-Divergent
Nozzle,
Computational
Fluid Dynamics, Velocity
Profile, Laminar, Turbulent)

without increasing the secondary
mass flow rate requirements.
