centerline if traffic is >300
vehicles per day
- 500m interval if traffic is <300
per day.

- Boring shall be spaced 60m over - Boring shall be times the base
foundation area and 30m
width of earth dams or 1 to 1
intermediate along centerline.
times the height of small concrete
dams in homogenous foundations.
- Boring shall be made at location - It shall be terminated after 3m
of cutoff and critical spots in

BORING REQUIREMENTS FOR BUILDING PROJECT

Spacing

Depth

For buildings of large area (930m2)

Generally, borings are made one at
each corner and one at the center
3 borings around perimeter (minimum
in 230m2 to 930m2) for isolated rigid
foundation
2 borings at opposite corners for
building area less than 230m2.
1 boring at every 30m to 60m interval
for possible building locations on soft
compressible strata.
5 borings (minimum), one at each
corner and center for Buildings
exceeding 3 stories.

Generally, it should be no
less than 9m below the
lowest part of foundation
unless rock is encountered
at shallow depth.
The depth of borings should
reach 3m into bedrock.

RIGHT-OF-WAY SURVEYS

Right-of-Way Improvement Survey

The objective of the right-of-way improvements survey is to identify the affected
existing structures, utilities, trees, etc. within the right-of-way limits, which shall be used
for RAP identification and as basis of payment for the right-of-way claims. The
alignment to be used shall be based on duly approved design plan.
Parcellary Survey
The objective of the parcellary survey is to identify affected lots within the right-of-way
limit and segregate the affected lots for the purpose of registering them in favor of the
government. The alignment to be used shall be based on duly approved design plan.
Subdivision Survey
(Subdivision Plan Approved by Director, Lands Management Services, DENR)
The objective of the subdivision survey is to segregate the affected lots as a result of
the parcellary survey for the purpose of registering them in favor of the Government.
