specific and are enabled as
appropriate, e.g the media toolbar is
not active until a media item is
opened.

Your project structure

You can access all your project items
through Navigation View. NVivo
stores the different parts of your
project in folders. For any folder, you
have access to both a summary of
the items in that folder (List View)
and the contents of an open item
(Detail View).

NVivo, you can undo your most
recent actions. Choose the undo
button from the Main toolbar.
Note: There is no redo button.

Saving your project

You can save your project at any time
by hitting CTRL+S, or by choosing
the Save icon on the Main toolbar
or by selecting the File>Save
Project menu option.
Note: When you save your project,
anything in the undo buffer is
removed.

Baking up your project

A NVivo project is stored as a single
file, so backing up your project is
similar to backing up any important
file which is stored on your computer.
You need to make a copy to another
location (i.e a network drive, USB
drive, CD etc)
A back up is not a back up until the
copy is moved from its primary
location.
