1.Unpacking inspection on site (1)


Unload and Storage:After receiving,store the busway in a clean,dry space that
having a uniform temperature,it is better to store the busway in a special
warehouse.Place the goods exactly in terms of the size of the packing.
Unpacking:Cut the banding that secures the package with band cutters.Use nail
pullers when unpacking wooden crates.Avoid destroying the busway, do not use the
goods for prizing up the crates.
Iinspection:Base on the packing list and the BRASS to check each label of the
goods (or packing).In order to find the items easier and make sure the accuracy of
the installation ,please do not remove the carton.Keeping the accessories that along
with the busway.

2.Preparation before the installation


Check the packing when receiving,if there are some polluting,please clean them if
there are no effect on their performance,otherwise,please notify the nearest Schneider
Electric Company representative.
Prepare some tools such as AT2 (supply by SBG), manual or automatic jack, insulation
resistance tester,tape,plumb, torque wrench etc.
Read the drawings and the instruction that along with the goods carefully,make sure to
understand the routing and the installation position of the busway.
Fix the drop rod or support before installing the busway.
The installer should should be professional qualified.

Tips on
installation
After unpacking, please test the busway phase to phase and phase to the earth
by insulation resistance tester,make the record accordingly.
Orient the busway,make sure no the buways is crossed .
Conduct an insulation resistance test on the busway run after all the busways
have been installed.
Follow Six steps for installation of the joint pack.
Adjust the whole run in a straight line when the installation has been done.

1) To pretect the busway from dust or water,please


pack the end of the unfinished Run when off duty.

5) Cover the tie-channel,and tighten the bolt

2) Tighten the bolt base on the below list.

3) Fix the spring hanger on the C-channel with bolt.

4) Tighten the busway with clips of the spring hanger ,torque


requires 14~17N*M.

5) Loosen the bolts when all the installation has been


done,and then check the flex of the spring.

If the length of the


spring get longer in this
floor so that it will
become shorter in the
next floor,this case
means the the clips
have not been tighten
with the busway.

6) Check the dimension change of the spring hanger regularly to


certify whether the support is suitable for the busway or not.
