Our Day With Solas


When we first arrived, we enjoyed a
meditation directed by Fr. Flan Lynch.
After tea and biscuits we went for a
beautiful walk.
In the afternoon we attended a
workshop on mental health
awareness directed by the Solas
team.

What Is Mental Health?


Mental health is not just the absence
of mental illness. It relates to many
parts of our lives including:
Our self esteem
Our relationships
Our ability to cope with the demands
of life

walking can be a truly spiritual


experience. It animates the body,
stimulates the mind, liberates the
imagination and activates the memory
It also creates a strange and beautiful
sense of peace throughout ones entire
personality
