Values

Introduction to Human
Values(HV)
harmonious
HV helps live harmoniously.
Find what is wright and wrong.

Specially religious systems play a major role.


All the HV are derived and experimented by our
self.
HV based on,
1. Equally respect to others feelings and opinions
2. Value the inter connection between the humankind and
environment.
3. Practice good attitude of non-violence.

Morals
Morals are the values that we attribute to a system of
beliefs that help the individual define right versus
wrong, good versus bad.
These are principle that derived from the wise peoples
through their experiences and wisdom.
Morality is concerned with principles and practices
of morals.

Ethics
Derived from the Greek word Ethos means, the
characteristic sprit or attitudes of a community,
people or system.
Definition for Ethics, It is defined as the discipline
that deals with what is good and bad and with moral
duty and obligation.
Major aspects are,
1. It is used to mean Morally correct
2. It is activity and process of inquiry.
3. It refers to a particular set of beliefs, attitudes and
habits of individuals or family or groups concerned

Values
Also known as worth.
It weighs choices of ones action.
Positive things such as, good, true, rich, strong are
considered real value.
Where as negative things such that bad, false, poor
and week are termed as disvalue.
Positive values only always preferred not negative
one.

mindedness.

Courage
It is a Latin word. Cor means Heart.
Tendency to accept and face risks and difficult task
in rational ways is called courage.
Courage is classified as Physical courage and social
courage.

Cooperation
Present day many works are need collection of peoples to
complete the each task.
The group members may differ in variable kinds like
qualification, age, experience, financial etc.,
The cooperation between among them only a key to
accomplishment of the task.
In specially we mechanical engineers need the
cooperation in all our field such as production,
manufacturing for committing the day to day task
completion.

Commitment
Commitment means alignment to goals and adherence to ethical
principles during the activities.
A student has to be committed to studies and should get the
highest position.
A teacher should be committed to his works practicing
Punctuality, devotion, loyalty and fairness to student.
A farmer should highly committed to farming to get a high yield.
Thus, the commitment is action by everyone is bound to add
wealth to one self, once employer, society and the nation at
large.

Empathy
Empathy is defined as the ability to imagine oneself
in anothers place and understood others feelings,
desires, ideas and actions.
Benefits of having good empathy are, creating good
customer relations, harmonious relationship b/w
labour in manufacturing, good vendor-producer
relationship.

Self Confidence
It is ones own capabilities, values and goals.
It develops a sense of partnership, respect and
accountability and this helps the organization to
obtain maximum ideas, efforts and guidance from
its employees.

Character
Greek word Means, a mark impressed on a coin.
Character is the expression of the personality of a human
being and it is the one which reveals itself in ones conduct.
It plays a more dominant role by shaping ones life.
A persons nature in terms of the effect it has on their
behavior is called temperament.
Sensitive, Active, Apathetic and Intelligent.

Spirituality
Spirituality in a broad sense refers to the way of
living.
It includes creativity, communication, recognition of
the individual as human being, vision and
partnership
Spirituality divided in two kinds, Religious
Spirituality and Workplace spirituality.
