 The Preventive Maintenance orders (PM02)

are used for Preventive Maintenance
Routines (PMRs).
A Corrective Order (PM01) is a type of
Work Order used for activities that involve
the maintenance of a piece or part of
equipment that has failed its function.

 Breakdown Mentainance deals with repairs

and conditioning of equipments
maintenance tasks that arises suddenly

The Refurbishment Order (PM04) deals

with the repair or reconditioning of
equipment parts outside the process line
whose value changes into a usable spare
after its refurbishment.

 Investment Orders (PM06) or CAPEX are typically

created for maintenance activities which will
result in the commissioning of an asset or similar
improvement projects and the costs are settled
onto the asset under construction

Work Order Process Flow

A Notification is created when

1. the need for a maintenance task is identified
2. when a completed maintenance activity has to
be recorded or
3. when downtime has occurred.
