1. Introduction of Sifradent
Company

Silfradent is located in Santa Sofia, in the heart of a charming National

Park, at the borders between Romagna and Tuscany provinces, in
Italy.
Since 1975 the Silfradent Company specializes in the production of
instruments for dental laboratories, but since 2003 Silfradent also
produces
medical
equipments.
The constant support of engineers, professors and doctors with its
motivated staff and its organized distribution network of importers have
helped Silfradent become the leading company in world in all of
European Community, North Africa, Arabic countries, China, South
Korea, South East Asia, Australia and the countries of South America
and
USA.

1. Introduction of Silfradent
Company and
development of Medifuge
Today is the world leader in the most advance
techniques
of
Growth
Factors.
Our scientific research and clinical outcomes
demonstrate uniqueness andeffectiveness of our
new CGF system using Concentrated Growth
Factors
&
StemCells.
Silfradent offers a unique, incomparable, easy to
handle and scientifically testedsystem. Reduce
the pain and the intra & post-operative
complication.

The MEDIFUGE CGF is designed to

process blood to obtain CGF in a sterile
environment so as not to contaminate the
material
to
be
implanted.

2. Introduction of Medifuge and CGF

CGF - A dream of every doctor:
A fabulous material that could cure all
wounds quickly and avoid the secondary
complications of surgical and medical
procedures.

Direct "effect of the growth factors Cytokines and CD 34 + cells

Repair, regeneration, pain relief, Inflammation, minimizes swelling
"Indirect" effect of growth factors, Cytokines and CD 34+ cells
Signal transmission and thus more production growth factors and
cytokines, as well as immigration into the tissue of other stem cells

2. Introduction of Medifuge and CGF

WHATS THE CGF?
CGF There is no blood manipulation
CGF It is a protein
CGF Stimulates Accelerates natural
biological events
CGF Block of fibrin and other blood-phases, a
slow and continuous polymerization
CGF It transforms It is an autologous
material which dont needs reabsorption
CGF Block fibrin flexible tri-molecular network
plasma cytokines stop in places/parking.
CGF Made contact with tissue fibroblasts are
created Made contact with bone osteoblasts are
created. It doesnt cause but accelerates the
healing.
CGF Immunizing Anti edemigeno
swelling Healing It acts in an intrinsic and
extrinsic way
CGF Neo angiogenesis
It rebuilds the blood vessels after 24 hours in the
concave cavities where is necessary to accelerate
the vascularization.
Angio-vessel / Genesis-birth
CGF Immunogenic. It prevents the attack by
bacteria and their fertility.

2. Introduction of Medifuge and CGF

WHATS THE CGF?

PDGF: Platelet Derived Growth Factor

Promote the growth of blood vessels, cell replication,
skin repair
VEGF*: Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor
Promote the formation of blood vessels
EGF: Epidermal Growth Factor
Promote cell growth and cell differentiation
TGF-b*: Trasforming Growth Factor b
Promote the growth of the extracellular matrix, the
bone metabolism
FGF-2*: Fibroblast Growth Factor-2
Promote cell growth and the formation of vessels
IGF: Insulin-like Growth Factor
Regulator of normal physiological processes of almost
all types of body cells

PROCESSES PROMOTED BY CGF AND ITS

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

It is a preparation of autologous.

Immunologically neutral.

Non-toxic.

Stimulating repair processes and growth tissue.

Stimulating cell proliferation.

Stimulating angiogenesis and revascularization.

Stimulating the proliferation of mesenchymal cells.

Stimulating the production of fibroblasts.

Safe & proper technique for routine blood draw
Steps
Apply the tourniquet
Palpate the antecubital fossa and locate the
median cubital vein
Cleanse the skin around the site in a fluid
circular motion from the center to the
periphery.
Position the needle bevel side up and linen
with the vein in an ankle of maximum 30
Draw blood
Instruct the client to open his hand and
remove the tourniquet
Apply pressure in the puncture site
immediately after and safe it with an
adhesive bandage

3. How to use Medifuge?

MEDIFUGE MF 200

Immediately after blood drawing (2 min.), set the

vacutainers opposite to each other in the Medifuge.
Color-different cap tubes can be put together.
Warning: Never put uneven tubes!

The load in a centrifuge must be carefully balanced. Use a combination of samples

and balance tubes which all have the same weight or use various balancing patterns
without balance tubes.
Difference in mass of the tubes can result in a large force imbalance when the rotor is
at high speed. This force imbalance strains the spindle and may result in damage to
the centrifuge or personal injury.

3. How to use Medifuge?

With the evolution of the CGF system , with Medifuge we obtain

THE DENATURATION OF ALBUMIN OCCURS AT 75

DEGREES.

1ST PHASE
The denaturation of albumin by heating leads to the construction of a web
structure, scaffold.
2ND PHASE
During cooling, the platelets homogenize the above mentioned structures.

What is A.P.A.G. Gel

It is derived from a sample of peripheral blood from the same patient;
Skin ulcers and wounds that do not heal can have a significant impact
on quality of life.
Denaturalized Albumin with: Platelets, Cells CD34+ - autologous healing
agents that stimulate the natural auto-healing induced starting from the
wound bed with slow "Biphasic" release - prolonged by growth factors.
^ Gel- Plasma rich of platelets ( PPP Denaturalized Albumin A.P.A.G. +
PRP + CD34+ ) for the treatment of chronic wounds and other.
^ It can be used for the treatment of exudative wounds, ulcers of the
upper-lower extremities , pressure sores and diabetic ulcers.
^ It is a Scaffold of natural fibrin (derived from plasma) which acts as
a scaffold for the adhesion of new cells.
^ The results are visible in a few days yet not weeks.
^ Promotes the healing process of wounds from post surgical trauma.
^ It helps to manage mechanically or surgically debrided wound (helps
healing).

MEMBRANE EFFECTS
^ Antipyretic: it gives relief without burning
^ Analgesic: it reduces pain, even in depth
^ Moisturizing: it promotes blood fluid retention in the tissues
^ Fungicidal: it inhibits the growth of fungi
^ Hemostatic: it reduces bleeding
^ Bactericidal: it hinders the growth of bacteria
^ Virustatic: it hibits the growth and development of viruse
^ Detoxifying: it helps the tissue detoxification from previous chemical and
pharmacological treatments
^ Proteolytic and Cicatrizant: it enzymatically dissolves and absorbs dead or
damaged cells, stimulating the regeneration process

ABSTRACT An interesting clinical option for optimizing healing tissue is the

use of platelet concentrate. Platelets contain high quantities of growth factors,
among these TGF-b1 and VEGF, which are known to be implicated in tissue
regeneration. CGF is produced by processing blood samples with a special
centrifuge device; three layers are formed: top acellular plasma (PPP), middle
CGF and bottom red blood cells (RBC) layers. Given that to date there are no
data concerning the biological characteristic of CGF, the aim of this study was
to evaluate the presence of TGF-b1 and VEGF in CGF and also in PPP and
RBC layers. In addition, since circulating stem cells are recruited from blood to
injured tissue for healing we also evaluated the presence of CD34 positive cells.
Our data show the presence of TGF-b1 and VEGF in CGF and RBC layers. In
addition, we show CD34 positive cells in CGF. Microsc. Res. Tech. 74:772777,
