a. Fungsi Sosial
untuk menginformasikan kepada para pembaca atau pendengar bagaimana cara
membuat atau melakukan sesuatu.
b. Struktur Teks
Goal (tujuan):
memberikan informasi berdasarkan tujuan dan maksud teks.
Materials:
Daftar bahan-bahan yang diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan.
Steps:
Serangkaian urutan instruksi atau kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan melalui urutan
langkah-langkah yang benar.
c. Unsur kebahasaan
Teks prosedur meggunakan :
Simple present tense
imperatives (e.g.: cut, dont mix)
action verbs (e.g.: turn, put, mix)
connectives (e.g.: first, then, finally,)
adverbial phrases (e.g. : for five minutes, 2 centimeters from the top)
