Annexe I (Pg 394): AREA OBJECTIVES OF PRIMARY EDUCATION

O.LE.1. Listen to and understand verbal messages in varied verbal


interactions, using the transmitted information to perform tasks which are
varied, specific and related to their experience.
RELATED TO KEY COMPETENCES: CLC,SIE, L2L, SCC, CAE RELATED
TO UNITS:
All the activities of each unit use the language as an instrument of
communication. For example with the routines established in class,
the greetings or the listening describing pets or expressing likes and
dislikes.
O.LE.2. Express oneself and interact in simple and routine situations, using
verbal and nonverbal procedures and according to the rules of
communicative exchanges in order to respond with sufficient autonomy
and in an appropriate, respectful, cooperative and correct way in everyday
situations.

TO UNITS:
The communicative activities will be related to students closest and
motivating scenarios; for example with role plays and
dramatizations.

O.LE.4. Read comprehensively diverse texts related to their
experiences and interests, to extract general and specific
information with a previously established purpose.
RELATED TO KEY COMPETENCES: CLC,SIE, L2L, SCC, CAE
RELATED TO UNITS:
The texts to be read at class will be carefully chosen
according to their level and interests. When possible we will
use authentic material. For example, a postcard from a
friend.
O.LE.5. Learn how to use with progressive autonomy all the means
available to them, including new technologies, to obtain
information and to communicate in the foreign language.

RELATED TO UNITS:
Students can access to different websites to do different
activities and find information so that it will help them
acquire the Digital competence.

O.LE.6. Use efficiently the knowledge, experiences and
communication strategies acquired with other languages to
acquire the foreign language in a faster, more efficient and
autonomous way.
RELATED TO KEY COMPETENCES: CLC,SIE, L2L, SCC, DC
RELATED TO UNITS:
The second language learning process must be close to the
process of acquisition of the mother tongue, in order to
produce natural results, directly applicable to the linguistic
use in the real world; on the other hand, the conscious
reflection and the systematic development of varied
competences that occurs when learning second languages,
can be extended to the mother tongue. For example, through
the use of the dictionary and strategies used in their mother
when reading like scanning or contextualization.
O.LE.7. Value the foreign language and all the languages in
general as a means of communication among people from
different origins and culture, developing a positive attitude
towards the multilingual and multicultural diversity which is
integrated in our Andalusian community.

O.LE.8. Show a receptive and progressively confident attitude in
their own ability to learn and use the foreign language.
RELATED TO KEY COMPETENCES: SIE, L2L, SCC RELATED TO
UNITS:
In order to get this objective students will evaluate their own
learning by completing the self-evaluation tasks at the end of
each review lesson and the self-assessment sheets.

O.LE.9. Identify phonetic, rhythmic aspects, accentuation and


intonation, as well as linguistic structures and lexical aspects of
the foreign language and use them as basic elements of
communication.

RELATED TO UNITS:
Our subject will work this objective through the use of songs,
stories, listening of brief dialogues and role plays.
