Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

Identifying the structure of an effective paragraph

Differentiating topic sentences and supports for an effective paragraph

Demonstrating by applying mechanics of writing

Preparing effective expository paragraphs

Labeling by identifying the structure of an expository essay

Labeling by identifying the structure of an argumentative/ a discussion- type

essay

Preparing by interpreting information from non-linear texts

Organizing point of view

Displaying by developing ideas and supporting details for an

argumentative essay/ a discussion-type essay
