 Robot exactly, is a system that contains sensors, control
systems, manipulators, power supplies and software all
working together to perform a task. Designing, building,
programming and testing a robot is a combination of physics,
mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural
engineering, mathematics and computing.
The need for a device that can detect and extinguish a fire on
its own is long past due. Many house fires originate when
someone is either sleeping or not home. With the invention of
such a device, people and property can be saved at a much
higher rate with relatively minimal damage caused by the fire.
It is the Robot that can move through a model structure, find
an oilfield and then extinguish it with help of a Blower. This is
meant to simulate the real world operation of a Robot
performing a fire extinguishing function in an oilfield. The
Popular 8 bit Microcontroller of the 8051 family is used as the
entire controlling part.
An embedded system is some combination of
computer hardware and software, with either fixed or
programmable capabilities, that is specifically
designed for a particular kind of application device.

Embedded systems do a very specific task,

they cannot be programmed to do different
things.

The Intel 8052 is, single chip microcontroller (C) which
was developed by Intel in 1980 for use in embedded

A DC motor is an electric motor that runs on DC electricity. It works
on the principle of electromagnetism. A current carrying conductor
when placed in an external magnetic field will experience a force
proportional to the current in the conductor

OPERATION OF A DC MOTOR

There are two magnetic fields produced in the motor. One magnetic field is
produced by the permanent magnets and the other magnetic field is
produced by the electrical current flowing in the motor windings. These two
fields result in a torque which tends to rotate the rotor. As the rotor turns, the
current in the windings is commutated to produce a continuous

Torque output this makes the motor to run .

Keil software

Keil compiler is a software used where the machine

language code is written and compiled. After compilation,
the machine source code is converted into hex code which
is to be dumped into the microcontroller for further
processing. Keil compiler also supports C language code.

We conclude that main objective of this
project is to develop an embedded system to
detect the fire and ------------- the fire
automatically.
It has been developed by integrating features of all the
hardware components used. Presence of every module has
been reasoned out and placed carefully thus contributing
to the best working of the unit.

For the further development of this project we

can do the programming in such away if any
intruder enters into the restricted area directly
the call or sms will be forwarded to concerned
area police station.

Automatically it will shutdown the premises if

any intruder enters into the restricted area.
