TAMANNA ISLAM Quality certification is the procedure adopted by organizations to let the customers and stakeholders know about the system being followed.
The international organization for standardization has
formulated standards for quality certification. It is known as ISO 9000 series certification
There are 3 types of quality certificates issued.
These are: ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003.
The guidelines for certification are given in
the standard ISO 9004.
The original version was released in 1994

management.Formal training will be ieal. Appoint a MR (Management Representative) For industry (preferably an employee who is good in public relations ).MR should be a certified quality lead assessor. MR should prepare the industry to receive the certification. He has to check whether all the relevant clauses are followed in the processes. MR will arrange for an internal auditing and ensure conformance to all the relevant clauses. Then the industry should approach a reputed certifying body. Third party audit is mandatory for certification. The certifying body will then come for auditing. If no non conformities are present then the certificate will be awarded. The certificate awarded is valid usually for 3 years. During the certificate validity period, once in every six months the industry should under go surveillance audit to be done by the same certifying body. ISO 14000 addresses six distinct but related
subjects. They are: 1. Environment management system (EMS) 2. Environment auditing (EA) 3. Environmental performance evaluation (EPE) 4. Environmental labeling(EL) 5. Life cycle assessment.(LCA) 6. Environmental Aspects in Product Standards (EAPS)
