WELL TESTING OVERVIEW

A well test can be performed only under dynamic conditions, which

means that the reservoir must be exposed to a disturbance that
will cause the reservoir pressure to change.

The pressure change is recorded and interpreted in conjunction

with the measured flow rates to yield information about the
parameters and geometry of the well and reservoir.
