Over the past few decades, there has
been a sharp and blatant rise in the
prevalence of food related diseases
and obesity within low-income,
African American communities.
This increasingly dangerous issue
that harms the wellbeing of low-
income African American
neighborhoods can be heavily

In many African
American communities, little to no healthy options and the
very small amount of

supermarkets and organic food
