FAKULTAS TEKNIK DAN ILMU KELAUTAN

UNIVERSITAS HANG TUAH
SURABAYA
BACKGROUND
Perisai Surabaya 2 is the name of a miniature shield our
.miniatur including patrol boat made of plywood and
powered dynamo.
to see what kind of ship is certainly this ship has more
power
THE THEORIS OF RELATED LITERATURE

Archimedes's Law
the upward buoyant force which is created by parts of the ship that is submerged, wheter fully or
partially, is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body displaces and it acts in the upward direction
Resistance
Hull made of plywood hollow, this causes the volume of sea water displaced by the hull
becomes very large. The buoyant force is proportional to the volume of water
displaced, so that the buoyant force becomes very large. The buoyant force is able to
overcome so that the total weight of the ship mengaoung at sea level. Thus the density
of the average - average iron and a hollow cavity of air that occupies still smaller than
the density of seawater. Therefore the ship was afloat.
THE MATERIALS / INGREDIENTS
Plywood Scissor
Super glue Battery
Hot glue / glue gun Cable
Rajawali glue Dynamo
Pylox
Hot glue stick Switch
Cutter propeller
Ruler
Pencil
THE PROCEDURES OF MAKING IT & DEMONSTRATION

How to create a body

1. First, drawing lines on the plywood with the size of the top 38.5cm, bottom 38.5
, right and left side 30 and back 20.
2. second, cut plywood with a predetermined size, and for back create a small hole
about the size of the nail for propeller.
3. Third, glue plywood parts except the top.
4. Fourth, If it is dry. glue again with glue gun.
5. Then, seal all parts using glue eagle, including the top so that all parts of the
body does not sink in water. because the plywood is unbelievably thin and easily
exposed to water.
6. After that, let stand for 1 day to dry. paint all the bodies with pylox.
THE PROCEDURES OF MAKING IT & DEMONSTRATION
Step installation of machinery
1. First, prepare a dynamo, cable, battery, and switch.

2. Second, connect the dynamo to the battery using a cable and the switch.

3. After that, check whether really connect and turn on.

4. Then, Make a propeller of bottle.

5. Connect dynamo with a propeller using candy stick.

6. Then, put it right on the hull.

7. After that, give the board and glue and dynamo does not move.

8. After that, try in water.

THE EXPERIMENT, FURTHER MODIFICATION, & FINAL RESULT

Bonvik is finished, without remote it can play in more or

less 20 m range
For further modification we want to add remote
control, rudder to steer it, so the control is not
complicated anymore
