Rights In Islam

‫حقوق‬
There are two types of Rights in Islam.
1) Rights of Allah (‫)حقوق ہللا‬
2) Rights of Human (‫)حقوق العباد‬

Rights of Allah:
Oneness. )‫(وحدانیت‬
Prayer. (‫)نماز‬
Alms giving. (‫)زکوۃ‬
Fasting. (‫)روزہ‬
Pilgrimage. (‫)حج‬
 All above rights which are concerned directly to Allah are called
Ibadaat (‫)عبادات‬.
Meaning and sense Of Worship ‫عبادات‬

 ‫( عبد‬Abd) means a slave. (who has been purchased)


 ‫( معبود‬Ma’bud) means who deserves to be worshipped.
 ‫( عبادت‬Ebadat) means to express utmost humility before
one’s master.
 We are Abd Of Allah.He is our Ma’bud and we worship to
him.
 Worship means:
Devotion to Allah, who exclusively deserve to be
worshipped.
Types Of worships (‫)عبادات‬
 Ibadaat ‫ عبادات‬are three types:

1) Physically participation is needed.(‫)بدنی عبادت‬


.i.e. Namaz & Roza.
2) Financially participation is needed.(‫)مالی عبادت‬
.i.e. Zakat.
3) Financially and physically participation are needed.
(‫)بدنی و مالی عبادت‬
.i.e. Hajj, Jihad.
Concept of (‫ )عبادات‬in Islam
 Islam has set rules and established form of worship.
 Islam declared obligatory & necessary to perform all parts of
worships.
 But Islamic concept of worships are not limited as compared to other
religions.
 Worships cover all the phrases of Life. Ebadaat which don’t cover the
whole life of a man has no value in Islam.
That’s why the Prophet (sw) said:
“If a man doesn’t Refrain from evil words and deeds,
Allah does not need his thirst and hunger”.
Further said:
“Most of those who go on fasting they do not achieve any
thing except thirst & hunger.”
Concept of (‫ )عبادات‬in Islam
According to the Qur'an…..,
 Salah restrain from shamelessness and evil.(Ankaboot:45).
 Fasting is the way to control the unlawful desires which develop
taqwa.(Al.baqarah:183)
 Zakat is the financial help to poor's & needy persons.(Tauba:60)
You can realize all above things are Huqooqullah, but it makes
influence on Human-beings also. (.i.e. Huqooqul Ebaad). Therefore
both Huqooqs are linked with each other.
 Huqooqullah are the most essential way to perform Huqooqul
Ebad.
 The one who perform huqooullah shall also perform Huqooqul
Ebad easily.
 The fear of Allah motivates us to perform huqooqul Ebad.
