can be secured.

of medicines, equipment and facilities.

 51-200 Workers
- Full time Registered Nurse
- Full time first aider will suffice if workplace
is non hazardous and no available
registered nurse.
 201 – 300 Workers
- Full time Registered Nurse
- Part time Physician
- Part time Dentist
- Emergency Clinic
 Over 300 Workers (Non Hazardous
Workplace)
- Full time Registered Nurse
- Part time Physician
- Part time Dentist
- Emergency Clinic
 Over 300 Workers (Hazardous Workplace)
- Full time Registered Nurse
- Full time Physician
- Full time Dentist
- Dental Clinic
- Infirmary or emergency hospital with one
(1) bed capacity for every 100 workers.
Part Time Service
 Contemplates at least two (2) hours stay
in the premises in a day.
 (2) – hour stay should be devoted to work
shift that has the biggest number of
workers, subjects, however, to call any
time during the other work shifts in case of
emergency.
Full Time Service
 Contemplates eight (8) hours stay in the
premises in a day.
 (8) – hour stay should be devoted to work
shift that has the biggest number of
workers, subjects, however, to call any
time during the other work shifts in case of
emergency.
When Emergency Hospital Not
Required?
 When there is hospital or dental clinic
(a) Located within five (5) kilometers away from the workplace, in
urban area; or
(b) Can be reached by motor vehicle in twenty – five (25) minutes if
the workplace is situated, in rural area;
 The employer has readily available
facilities for transporting a worker to the
hospital or clinic in case emergency.
 The employer has written contract with
the hospital or dental clinic for treatment
of workers in case of emergency.
