personal property.
• Consider only those part of plumbing which
will fall under category of personal property.
• Personal Property in plumbing are those
pipelines and equipment which have been
installed for specific purpose or as per the
requirement of the owner. All such property
are consider to have a MACRS life of 5 years.

• Load the drawings in excel with the help of
vertigraph plugin to start the plumbing takeoff
for each and every floor.
• Count the number of fixtures in each and
every floor.

• Calculate the piping takeoff.
• Consider dedicated piping only for those
equipments, which are considered under
personal property.
• Common pipelines need not to be considered
as personal property.
