A. Athena Promachos is shown facing right,
according to the new system. On each of
the columns flanking her stands the group
of Eirene and Ploutos by the sculptor
Kephisodotos. B. A rare scene of ground
wrestling. A Nike hovers above the group,
ready to tie the fillet on the victor. At the
left stands a Nike with the judge's branch.
At the right waits the ephedros, an athlete
who has received a bye. Form Eretria. By
the Painter of Athens 12592.
