LAU allows Medical Aspirants to apply
for MBBS from Abroad without NEET
• Enroll with LAU and complete One Year Pre-medical training at Sharda
University – India.
• Get complimentary NEET Coaching.
• Appear for NEET next year.
• All you NEED to do is to QUALIFY NEET in order to get eligibility certificate
from MCI to enable you to return to India and appear for FMGE later on.
• You can then leave for Guyana to join the four years MD Program without
wasting one academic year.
 PATHWAY AT GUYANA

● Complete Two Years of Basic Sciences

● Get Internal Coaching for USMLE Step 1 in the last three months of
the Basic Sciences programme .
● Appear for USMLE Step 1
● Follow either of the under-mentioned tracks in Reputed Hospitals
for Two Years Clinical Rotations:
• Guyana track
• US Track
• India Track
LAU MD - India Track

• Post completion of MD Program, appear for FMGE upon return to

India.
• Upon successful clearance of FMGE / MCI Screening Test ,apply for
internship with Reputed Hospitals in India.
• Prepare for interview and complete your internship to successfully
obtain the license of Certified Medical Practitioner in India.
• Apply for NEET (PG) to acquire the desired Post Graduate Qualification
in India
LAU MD - Guyana Track

• Post completion of Clinical Rotation and MD Program at Guyana

appear for Caribbean Medical Council Examination (CAMC).
• Upon successful clearance of CAMC, apply for internship in any of the
hospitals in the Caribbean
• Register in CAMC and Guyana Medical Council
• Practice in Caribbean Islands / Guyana
• Alternatively appear for USMLE Step 2 CK at Guyana and Step 2 CS at
any of the six centers in USA
• Get Paid Residency (PG) in USA
LAU MD - US Track

• Post completion of Clinical Rotation from a reputed Hospital in USA, appear

for USMLE Step - 2.
• After clearing USMLE Step - 2, apply for PG (Residency)Program from USA.
• While pursuing PG Program, apply for USMLE Step - 3.
• Get license to practice medicine in USA post clearance of USMLE (All Steps)
• This licence enables you to become eligible for practice anywhere in the
Globe without having to appear for the entrance examination of that country.
• You can also apply for Fellowship Program in USA after the residency and
become a super-specialist
• You can also come back to India and get registered in MCI without appearing
for FMGE
