ALBERT EINSTEIN (1879-1955)

• There is no doubt that Einstein was outstanding scientist in 21 century.

By creative influence to the science he likely could be compared only
with Newton.
• Transformation of classic physics to modern in a large extend has been
implemented under his influence and authority.
THE MAIN THEORIES AND IDEAS DEVELOPED BY HIM:

• The theory of photoelectric effect

• The special theory of relativity
• The general theory of relativity
• Fundamental scientific ideas and theories highly influenced the
philosophy of the science.
• The very ideology of Einstein has taken shape under influence of
Spinoza, Yum and Kant.
• His worldview position is frequently characterized like ontological
rationalism limitedly bound with his “cosmic religion” as the faith in
rational organization of nature.
• Essence of his epistemological conception :
• There is no strict logical way from empiricism to theory. The goal of
physic-theoretic consists in discovering fundamental laws of nature
(“axioms”) based on intuitive and creative generalization of “direct
data of empirical experiences”
• It should be highlighted that Einstein`s name mostly is associated with
his relativity theory, though Nobel prize he got for theory of
photoelectric effect, i.e. theory of quantum type. But most of his
creative life he criticized the standard Copenhagen interpretation of
quantum mechanics, as he considered that it doesn’t give the
description of microobjects` behavior.
ABOUT SCIENCE

• I believe in intuition and imagination

Imagination is more important than knowledge, as knowledge is limited,
but imagination embraces everything in the world, stimulates progress
and is the source of its evolution.
• The basis of scientific work is conviction that the world presents well-
ordered and cognizable essence. This conviction is based on religious
feeling.
My religion feeling - respectful admiration for the order which reigns
in the small part of reality which is possible to our mind.
• Developing logical thinking and rational approach to study of reality,
the science can significantly weaken superstition which is dominating
in the world.
• Music and research are different by origin, but are bound with the same
goals.
This world can consist of music notes as well as mathematical formulas.
We try to create the rational picture of the world, where we could feel
like at home and find stability, which is unreachable for us in real life.
• The law couldn’t be exact, at least because of conceptions by which we
form them are in progress and could be insufficient.
• I look at drawing but my imagination can not re-create its creator. I look
at my watches but I can not imagine how looks its master.
• Humans mind is not able to perceive 4 dimensions. So how it can
comprehend God for whom 1000 years and 1000 dimensions appears
as one thing.
