Water Quality- Depending on the day,

the water can be clear or potentially
brown from rain runoff.

Air Quality- Windy most of the time.

 'Ae'ae- used for erosion control, not
endangered, can grow directly in water.
Physical Plan Cost- $3.50/6” round pot
and Financial Calculations- $210/360”
Breakdown

Our plan is to add

more natural shrubs
and vines to decrease
the amount of sand
bags used because it
isn’t practical.
 ʻAkiʻaki- withstands wind, sand and rain. Not

 - The beach will look nicer because it

sea surge.

- South Kihei road will be at risk and the
only way to Kihei will be Mokulele

Kealia pond and all the endangered birds
will be at risk, and won’t have anywhere
to go.
