Client, is a program
that provides local
services to customers
corresponding to the
server. With the
exception of locally
running applications,
which are typically
installed on a regular
local PC and need to
work with the server.

LCT
Orientation:The LCT is a
member of Fiberhome network
management system family.It is
designed in complince with the OSI
standard issued by ISO.In the
TMN(Telecommunication
Management Network)model,it is in
the NEL(Network Element Layer)

Application Scenarios:Support
handling emergency maintenance
tasks on the existing network when
the equipment is offline or
inconvenient to login on the EMS
client. Helps monitor and identify
problems by querying alarms,
performance, equipment
configuration and other information.

Difference between Client and LCT
OTNM2000 Client:The subnet-level element management system that
supports complete configuration,performance,alarm security,and service
management function.It is used to configure and monitor the NEs in the
network topology.

LCT:The local craft terminal that supports basic performance,alarm and other
management functions.It is used for maintenance and commissioning of the
local equipment,and serves as a supplementary measure for the
OTNM2000's monitoring of the equipment.

User Authority
OTNM2000 offers different kinds of user authority,mainly ADMIN and MONITOR authority

ADMIN: Full authority of OTNM2000,all OTNM2000 function can be used


by ADMIN user account

MONITOR:Partly authority of OTNM2000,only Performance and Alarm Check


can be used by MONITOR user account;user account in this group
only can check alarm,performance

2. Unfold IPRAN Ne Config, choose Eth


Interface
3. Click Add and add Main Eth-Interface
1. Right Click on the NE, choose the NE

1. Right on the Tunnel just created, choose Add PW


2. PW Label should be set as 1005 as
Tunnel label is started from 1001, Click

1. Right click on the PW,


then add Eth Service

1. Click Business Configuration, And find


the L2VPN Service.

2. Typing the Service name and Service type.
