The main objectives of SMICPL can be defined as:

1. To assimilate and document the findings of “Action Research”


for Corporate performance improvement and value addition.
2. To update and assimilate new knowledge of management
systems and processes, management research findings and
new practices.
3. To share the assimilated and documented knowledge with the
business world to further enhance their value addition through
benchmarking and enabling the organization to understand the
gaps and opportunities and process of growth.
4. SMICPL will work towards corporate excellence by enhancing the value
of managers through knowledge, skill, attitude building as well as
through system, process improvement and internal assessment, SWOT
analysis, etc.
5. SMICPL will play the role of change agent – change for betterment,
change in values, culture, organizational climate, competencies and over
all organizational capabilities.
6. SMICPL will take up applied research work in areas like; organizational
climate, morale and motivation and strategic management, etc.
7. A great focus of SMICPL’s work will be in the area of training
particularly for senior and top management in general management and
organizational behaviour.

DR. B.R SINGH, Managing Director

Dr. B.R Singh is a M. Com. (Business Administration) Gold


Medalist – breaking all past records) from Banaras Hindu
University and MBA in HRD & Corporate Strategy from University
of Leeds UK. He acquired his Ph. D in Corporate Planning from
B.H.U. He has received Advance Behavioural Training at NTL, USA
and has visited most of the prestigious Business Schools in Europe
and USA. His core competencies inter alia include Organizational
Designing and Restructuring, Manpower Planning, HR system
development and implementation, Performance Management
System – Design and Implementation, Headhunting of Top and
Senior Management Cadre, Corporate Strategy formulation,
Turnaround strategy – Formulation and implementation, SWOT
analysis – Corporate Appraisal, Team Building & Team Working,
Thorough exposure to inter-functional linkage in management and ability to
integrate the different management streams into a functional mode,
Management Systems Development.
He has a luminous career with reputed industries like; Ispat Group as
Director-HR, Lloyds Group as Executive Director-HR, Reliance Group as
Dy. Chief Executive–HR and RCF as Head– Management Development
Division & Corporate Planning. He is visiting faculty to a number of
prestigious business schools. He has handled a number of overseas
assignments. Dr. Singh has been conferred with Fellowship by Indian
Society for Training & Development for distinguished contribution to HRD
Profession in India. He has also received Distinguished Alumni Award from
Banaras Hindu University. He was National President of ISTD in 1987. He

Dr. SHAILENDRA SINGH, Director

Dr SHAILENDRFA SINGH is MBA from Pune university, Dip.


Training & Development from ISTD , New Delhi – Gold medalist
at all India level and Ph.D in from South Gujarat University. He
has 25 years of experience in HRM in Large size organisation.
He has worked in Trident Group as President HR , Vedanta Group
as Head & VP - HR. Earlier he had worked with Ispat Group,
Lloyds Group and Reliance Group at senior level. His field of
specialization is HR system development, senior management
sourcing, PMS, training, organisational development & Change
management.
Mr. SANDEEP KUMAR SINGH, Sr. HR Consultant

SANDEEP SINGH is MPM from Pune University, Diploma in Labour


Law & Labour Welfare – Pune University, Dip. Training &
Development from ISTD , New Delhi, Black Belt in Six Sigma from
TQMI ( Motorola University). He has 21 years of experience in HR in
Large size Telecom / Sales / IT organization. He has worked in Idea
Cellular Limited as AGM – TQM & HR , Airtel Enterprise Services as
Regional HR , Reliance Communication Limited as National Head –
Talent Acquisition (Wireless Business) , Huawei Telecommunication
Limited as Asst. Director – HR, & HFCL as Head HR for their OFC
project in Reliance 4G business. His field of specialization is
Manpower Planning , Designing of HR Policy, Processes & HR
System, Due Diligence during mergers and acquisitions, Talent
Acquisition across all levels, PMS design & Training, Statutory

DR. S.S JHA, Principal Consultant

Dr Jha is postgraduate and Ph.D. in psychology. He has


worked in IIT-Kharagpur as Head-Humanities. He also
worked in IPIL, Pune as General Manager (HR). He is well
experienced in different areas in Organizational Behaviour.

Mr. Vinay M Deshpandey is a postgraduate in

MRS. UMA NARENDRAN, Principal Consultant
