ABSTRACT
• The uses of automobiles are increased day by day because of that the
waste of tyres increases.

• In india the waste tyres are classified as solid waste.

• Due to manufacturing of tyres with synthetic rubber proper disposal of

these waste tyres has become difficult.

• It is approximately estimated as 60 to 70% of waste tyres are disposal in

improper way in various areas.

• As a result of this, there is a great damage to ecosystem like air pollution

and aesthetic pollution.
INTRODUCTION

• Subgrade stabilization :- It is the use of geosynthetic

reinforcement elements to provide constructability and
access over very soft soils .
• Soil stabilization is the process of improving engineering
properties of the soil and thus making it more stable .
• Soil stabilization means the improvement of the stability or
bearing power of the soil by the controlled compaction;
proportioning and addition of suitable admixture or
stabilizer .
NEED FOR SOIL STABILIZATION

• To increase bearing capacity of soil.

• To increase shear strength of the soil.

• To minimise the swelling due to water.

• To increase resistance to softening action of the soil.

• To prevent resistance to softening action of the soil.
