It refers to the providing of assistance to


another person who is ill, disabled, or needs
help with daily activities.
Plays an important role in the lives of
individual who need care and support.

 A worker who is qualified to provide personal
care independently or with minimal
supervision, to children, elderly or people with
special needs (disabilities)

TOOLS FOR CLEANING, WASHING
AND IRONING
1. APRON
 Is a useful garment worn to
keep clothes clean when
cleaning.

2. BASIN
 Is a circular container with
greater width that depth used
for washing clothes and other
garments.
3. BOTTLE STERILIZER
 Is a tool that is used in
sterilizing and killing
different microorganism on
feeding bottles through
high heat or boiling
method.
4. BROOM
 Is used in weeping dirt, dust
and other unwanted
particles scattered on the
floor.
5. HAMPER
 is a large basket with cover
that is common used in
carrying clothes.
6. DISWASHER
 Is an electrical operated
equipment that is used in
washing, rinsing, and drying
dinnerware, cutlery, etc.
7. FLATIRON
 Is an electrical tool that is
used in removing or
pressing wrinkles on
clothes or linen.
8. IRONING BOARD
 Is a foldable, flat, padded
board with supporting legs,
where clothes and linen are
pressed and ironed.
9. WASHING MACHINE
 is an electrical equipment
that is designed to wash
dirty clothes.
8. VACCUM CLEANER
 Is an electrical house-hold
equipment that is used in
collecting or sucking up dirt
and dust usually from floor
carpets and rugs.
