This project is developed using

Project :Automated Cargo Management system

Model :Client/Server Model

Front end :Java

Back end :Oracle

App.Server :Tomcat
What is Cargo Management System?

Each and every company needed the transport department for delivering our
goods to required places. This is also called as logistic or cargo department
system.
This process is done under the area of ERP. In Logistics using SCM[Supply Chain
Management] process, it is one of the part of ERP.
 The advanced functionality provided by ACS is accomplished by the application
and requires no in-depth knowledge by our cargo agents. This allows our cargo
agents to focus on the cargo operation, not the cargo application.
Data input is held to the bear minimum. Data is input only once and used by all
cargo applications. This eliminates human input errors and makes the overall
operation more efficient.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our Project is based on SDLC[Software Development
Life Cycle] model.
Our Project is based on c/s architecture with JSP as
front end and oracle as back end.
Automated cargo management system provides doing
an easiest work for all logistics companies and give
clear details about the goods and reports to the
CARGO offices with in correct manner.
Synopsis
 The project entitled as ‘Automated Cargo Management
System’ is to develop a computer system for inventory of
vehicles, maintenance cost of vehicles, tracking and
scheduling of goods shipments, generating bills ships
undertaken, shipments delivered and evaluating HR.
 This project is designed in user-friendly operational
model. It avoids iterative entry of data. A maximum
option is given for selecting the data and manipulating
and arriving the desired result and report.
 This project is developed using JAVA as front end and
ORACLE as a Back end.

Minimal work required
No errors
Details are in secured manner.
Scope For Future Enhancements
In Cargo Management company
Using GPS for tracking the
vehicles.
Sending SMS to customer
Online video conferencing can be
included across the branches for
better communication.
Conclusion
Above all our desire was to make to fulfill all of our
requirements related to the software development.
One of the main advantage of the system is avoids
iterative jobs saves lot of manpower and time which is
visualized after implementing this project.
