 A. Background
Today the rate of development of computer
technology is always increasing segnificant.
The impact of that development is not only
at the industrial sector, but also into the
world of education.
 We have increased education very segnificant and we can see
with government programs such as:
◦ free schools for elementary, junior high school, vocational or high school
and a scholarship program for example JARDIKNAS.

 Withsuch a phenomenon that almost all schools in Indonesia,

elementary, junior high, high school or vocational, and
university, all have extremely busy at the time of Acceptance of
New Students.
 This phenomenon is also felt by SMK Negeri 2
Bawang on every year, especially at the time of
Acceptance of New Students (PPDB) and not infrequently
experienced the same problem on the team each year
if the data are prospective new learners have
difficulties in processing data Educate New
Participant . Therefore felt necessary to create a
program that can be a solution to the problem.
 For that made Design Build Information Systems
Acceptance of New Students (PPDB) In making this
design includes the design of programs and
databases on the New Educate Participants
Acceptance System using PHP and Mysql.
SMK Negeri 2 Bawang has 3 skills programs

◦ Electronics Engineering ( TAV)

◦ Computer and Network Engineering( TKJ )
◦ And new programs of Motorcycle Engineering (TSM)
With reference to the background on the author tried to
pick-up a Title

 B. Problems
Based on the above descriptions there are some
problems that need further examination that is;
◦ How to build Information System Acceptance of New
Participants Students (PPDB) using a web based PHP and
MYSQL in SMK NEGERI 2 BAWANG?
 C .PROBLEM LIMITATION

Seeing the philosophy and system of assessment of

the problem. The author will provide the boundaries
issues include
◦ The system was made with PHP-based
◦ Using MySQL as a database
◦ System is made for data management scale prospective new
students Vocational High School (SMK) include: the
number of applicants, score, level and status of accepted or
not for each individual skill program

DISCUSSION PROGRAM APPLICATION

1.Login
If the username and password are entered correctly then the display
will look like the following image

New Educate Participants Acceptance Program are 4 (four), user
status, namely:

a.Administrator
Administrator on the status of all existing facilities accessible
application for handling and data processing prospective new
students of SMK Negeri 2 Bawang

b. TKJ

To TKJ status can only use all the facilities associated with
this program skill program Computer And Network
Engineering (TKJ), so that users in this state can not
manipulate all the data.
c. TAV
For TAV status can only use all the facilities associated with this
program Program Technical expertise Audio Video (TAV), so that
users in this state can not manipulate all the data.

d. TSM
For TSM status can only use this program all the facilities
associated with the Program Technical expertise Motorcycles
(TSM), so that users in this state can not manipulate all the
data.
2. Main Page
The main page is the start page that displays a variety of menus,
submenus Home, Data Input, Edit Data, Reports, Logout and
information on how to use this program

a.Home Page
Menu Home is a page that contains the information and how to use
this program to make it more max
b. Input Data Page
Data Input menu is a page that displays the options for the user to
enter data and on this menu there are two sub menus, or two
input

i.Input Biodata Menu

This menu is a menu of status or privileges which the user can
enter data prospective new learners associated with the identity
of applicants and the form on this menu must be completed
before filling out the form on the value input menu
ii. Input Nilai Menu
This menu is a menu where users can enter data status of the
prospective new learners associated with grades and achievement
of prospective applicants
c. Edit Data Page
Edit menu is a menu of data which is used to edit or correct data
in case of errors during data entry and on this menu there are two
parts or sub menu of the edit is
i.Edit Biodata Menu
This menu is a menu where users can improve the status of
personal data already in the input in case of errors and allow it to
be revised
If No. Urut biodata that we are looking for and we'll fix already
included, then we click on the Edit button and it will display showing
Bios
ii. Edit nilai Menu
This menu is a menu where users can improve the status of that
already in the input value if an error occurred
If No. Urut biodata that we are looking for and we'll fix has been
incorporated, and then we will be looking for. If you have found click
Edit Value button
d. Report

This report is a menu of the menu to display and print reports from
the data processing results as shown in Figure below
