m When have you had a great worship
experience? What made it great?
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of
God·s mercy, to offer your bodies as
living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to
God ² this is your spiritual act of worship.
Do not conform any longer to the
pattern of this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what
God·s will is ² his good, pleasing and
perfect will.

m Worship is motivated by an awareness of
God·s mercy (verse1). What is mercy?

Worship is not merely inward/mystical.
Worship is not just about the soul.

Worship IS using your mouth


Worship IS using your hands
Worship IS using your eyes, ears, brains,
feet, desires, ambitions, health,
appearance«..etc

m Worship comes to fulfillment as you do
what Paul describes in verse 2. What
does it look like when someone conforms
to the pattern of this world?

´transformed by the renewing of your

God thinks

m Worship is not just about singing,
celebrating, ÿ it is to train our hearts for
ALL DAY SURRENDER, to thank God all
day because of his MERCY
m Praise ² acknowledging good quality in
something. Worship goes beyond praise.
It is acknowledging someone or
something as ultimate source of good, of
life itself
