Believe it or not, you can alter
or change the way you write!
It just takes some effort and
time.
Legible means able to be read
or understood.
If your essay looks messy,
Chances are the readers will have a negative
first impression of your writing and thus
deduct points.
Chances are they may not even bother to
read it.

Beautiful or even just nice handwriting is an
easy way to sell your writing sample and earn
points.
How many words should be
written on each line?
Seven Eleven rule,
Each line should contain anywhere from seven
to eleven words.
If you consistently have less than seven words,
you are writing too big.
If you consistently have more than eleven
words, you are writing too small.
Investigate one of your writing samples and
make necessary adjustments or changes
When printing, you should
not slant your letters.
No -- I love rap music.
Yes -- I love rap music.
If you are writing in cursive,
then you must slant your
letters slightly to the right.

Regardless of writing style,
upper case letters occupy the
entire space.
Regardless of writing style,
lower case letters usually
occupy half the space (I.e.,
most of the time).

numbers occupy the entire
space.
If an application or form
requires you to print, then
write your letters in
manuscript.
If someone asks for your signature,
write your name in cursive. These
are the little things in life that
actually make a difference.

The correct way to fix an error
(in ink) is to simple draw a
line through your mistake
(e.g., It shouldnt bee be
there). This correction
procedure is referred to as
authors line.
