BASIC COMMAND HANDLING

MANAGED OBJECT
A Managed Object is a logical representation of hardware units and software in the BTS. As we are aware that nothing is visible from BSC end that means it is necessary to define all hardware unit in as a logical entity.

MANAGED OBJECTS
Transceiver Group (TG) Central Function (CF) Digital Path (DP) Concentrator (CON) Transceiver Controller (TRX) Transmitter (TX) Receiver (RX) Interface Switch (IS) Timing Function (TF) Time Slots (TS).

BASIC COMMANDS

RADIO CONTROL CELL RESOURCES

RLCRP:CELL=ALL; RLCRP:CELL=CELL ID;

This command is used to see status of BCCH,CBCH,SDCCH etc channels

Radio Control Cell Supervision of Logical Channels Availability Data

RLSLP:CELL=ALL; RLSLP:CELL=CELL ID;

This command prints out supervision of logical channels availability data for the subcells of the specified cell .

RADIO X-CEIVER ADMINISTRATION TG TO CHANNEL GROUP

RXTCP:MOTY=RXOTG,CELL=CELL ID; This command show either the channel groups connected to one or more TGs, or a list of channel groups connected to all the TGs of the specified managed object type. This command will also give a list of connected TG's to a cell when the cell name is given.

RADIO X-CEIVER ADMINISTRATION MANAGED OBJECT FAULT INFORMATION

RXMFP:MO=RXOCF-<TG>; This command initiates printing of fault information for one or more managed object instances or all defined managed object instances of a specified managed object type.

Radio X-ceiver Administration, Managed Object Configuration Data,

RXCDP:MO=RXOTG-<TG>;

This command is used to initiate printing of managed object configuration data for one or more managed object instances.

RADIO X-CEIVER ADMINISTRATION MANAGED OBJECT STATUS

RXMSP:MO=MO..; RXMSP:MOTY=MOTY..; This command prints the status information for one or more managed objects or for all defined managed object instances of a specified managed object type

RADIO X-CEIVER ADMINISTRATION MANAGED OBJECT ALARM SITUATIONS

RXASP:MO=MO..; RXASP:MOTY=MOTY..;

This command initiates printing of all alarm situations currently outstanding in one or more managed object instances or all defined managed object instances of a specified managed object type. If the specified managed object instance or managed object type is TG, then the alarm situations for the subordinate objects are also printed.

Radio X-ceiver Administration, Manual Blocking of Managed Object, Initiate

RXBLI:MO=MO.,SUBORD,FORCE; This command orders the manual blocking of one or more managed object instances If the FORCE parameter is given, the blocking order will be executed immediately If the FORCE parameter is not given, the blocking order will not be executed immediately

Radio X-ceiver Administration, Manual Blocking of Managed Object, End

RXBLI:MO=MO.,SUBORD; This command orders the manual unblocking of one or more MO instance.

RADIO CONTROL CELL STATE

RLSTP:CELL=CELL ID; RLSTP:CELL=ALL[,STATE=STATE];
The command initiates the answer printout CELL STATUS for one, several or all internal cells. When parameter STATE is given with ALL cells, the printout CELL STATUS is only produced for cells of the specified state.

Radio Control Cell, State, Change

RLSTC:CELL=CELL ID,STATE=ACTIVE; RLSTC:CELL=CELL ID,STATE=HALTED;

The command is used to change the state of a cell or channel group.

Digital Path Transmission Functions, State

DTSTP:DIP=DIP ID; DTSTP:DIP=ALL[,STATE=STATE];

This command initiates a printout of the state for the specified DIP. If parameter STATE is given, only the DIPs with the indicated state are printed

TO FIND DIP ID FROM TG VALUE

RXAPP:MO=RXOTG-<TG>; RADEP:DEV=<DEV>; NTCOP:SNT<SNT>;

Radio X-ceiver Administration, Abis Path

RXAPP:MO=MO; RXAPP:MOTY=MOTY;
This command prints all defined Abis paths concerning a given TG, several TGs or all TGs in the BTS.

RADIO CONTROL ADMINISTRATION DEVICE DATA

RADEP:DEV=<DEV>;

The printout DEVICE DATA IN BSC is received for specified devices, all devices of a device type, or all devices

Switching Network Terminal, Connection Data

NTCOP:SNT<SNT>;
This command prints the connection data of the SNTs

Alarm Functions, Alarm List

ALLIP:ACL=acl; ALLIP:ACL=ALL; This command prints the entire alarm list or a part of the alarm list.
