Selecting and Constructing photography for the music magazine

looked at a series of websites to find appropriate professional photography that I could use in my magazine. This is because:
I need to have lots of options for what to

use in the magazine. I need to have plenty of variety that helps to represent my music scene accurately.

This photograph could be used on an inside page article about bass guitars. I like this photo because it frames the bass well and it works well. It would Influence the design of my page by showing what the article is about without reading anything.

I like this one because the background blends in well with her and isnt standing out more than she is. The colours also work well together with the purple, pink and black colour combination. Katy Perry is also amazing! It could be used for an article about her because I wouldnt think it would work well as a magazine front cover.

I like this one because it has good positioning of the band members as you have the lead singer in front of the rest of the band who play the instruments. I think It could be used for a front cover of a magazine because of the positioning in this photo.

I like this one because it shows a clear medium shot of Jared Leto. It could be used for the inside of a magazine for an article about the styles of singers/bands or perhaps the picture for an interview page. I think it might also be used as a front cover of a magazine.

I like this one because it shows the bands characteristics.

It could be used for an inside page because it would take up to much room on the front cover and front cover pictures are normally a medium close up or medium shot of the band/artist and are closer together.

It could be used for an inside page if it was an interview or article about the band because I think the band are too spaced out and it would take up most of the front cover.

I like this one because the colour contrast on this photo works very well and suits the bands genre.

I like this one because it shows a good long shot of the band and the positioning of the band works well.

I would use this for a magazine front cover because of the positioning and the camera shot.
