GAZANTEP ORGANIZED INDUSTRY ZONE


Waste Water Treatment Center-capacity of 90.000m3/day, equals to 1.5 million peoples waste water treatment Natural Gas since 2005 are used in GAOIZ Container Terminal- both in GAOIZ and Free Zone in order to establish a rapid, direct connection to Mersin and skenderun ports. In 2007, 320.000 tons of goods are transferred. Since 2006 GAOIZ has taken over the role of distrubuting and selling electricity from TEDAS in 2006 4th Organized Industry Zone is specially designed in big areas for foreign investors.

Gaziantep is a vital logistics center for the transfer of goods that come from Mersin and skenderun Ports to Iraq, There is a railway and a container terminal at Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone, Natural gas is currently used in all industrial zones of Gaziantep, Gaziantep has highway connections to Adana, Mersin and skenderun, and it is expected that this highway connections will reach to Iraqi border soon, Gaziantep has an international airport, Consulate of Syria is in Gaziantep, Iraq Consulate is expected to be opened in fall 2009 Negotiations about opening up consulates of Jordan, Egypt, Iran, Algeria still continues.

GAZIANTEP FREE ZONE

Numerous opportunities for foreign investors apart from tax, investment and trade and employment advantages of Free Zones, Gaziantep Free Zone offers to its investors even renting opportunities without ownership. Profits, which are gained for the activities in the zone, can be transferred freely No customs fee and funds for imported machinery and goods, which are brought to Free Zone Since the sales from Turkey to Zone are considered as export, the Zone users can purchase goods from Turkey, without paying VAT Sales of goods, either produced in the zone or those brought into the free zone,are permitted for resale into domestic markets.

MIDDLEASTERN ECONOMY ZONE


A project to be implemented within the Turkey-Syria Interregional Cooperation Programme Akcakoyun Province GCC is the project owner and the feasibility report and studies and still continues in cooperation with DPT,TOBB and TEPAV. A zone where the analysis of the both Syrian and Turkish investment opportunities, trade information and related legislation are done, and these advantages will be used in this Zone for companies, production and trade for going into European Union and Arab Union Markets.
