To serve Golgappas in a hygienic and innovative way with the promise of real sweetness of potatoes,dipped in spicy and sour tamarind juice garnished in the crunchy puris .

Vision
To create a GOLGAPPA CHAIN and to publicize it as a brand and extend the business across Bangalore.

Introduction
The young aspiring businessman hailing from the city of Sangam, Allahabad, Mr. Luvkush moved to Bangalore in the year 2009, with the dream of providing the Bangalorians the real taste of Allahabads famous Golgappa.

How did the business start

The business started with a small setup on the main road of Jayanagar, near the bus stop.

He chose the location keeping in mind the movement of the public as the bus stop is very near and many colleges and companies are also present in the same location.

Business strategy and investment


Investment: The business incurs a very nominal investment. Most of the ingredients are prepared at home. Mr. Luvkush purchases 8-10 kgs of wheat flour and approximately 2 kgs of potato and the required spices depending on the regular sale.

The actual investment is approximately Rs. 350 per day.


The profitability ratio is 50% to 60% of the total investment as told by Mr. Luvkush.

Strategy: Mr. Luvkush aims at making more and more profit by rendering quick and quality service. He has grown tremendously within these two years by following his vision. His business has grown three folds within two years. He has two more Golgappa stalls in Brigade road and Jayanagar Market.

Though Mr. Luvkush is not highly literate and not exposed to the management skills, he has unknowingly implemented the management principles to meliorate his business.
He treats each and very customer with utmost enthusiasm and also takes feedback for his services.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Wastage happens only during rainy days and humid climate. When asked about the wastage management , Mr. Luvkush informed that certain ingredients like potato and spices which are perishable cant be stored . But golgappas made of wheat flour can be easily stored for a number of days. For other ingredients he covers the stall with an umbrella,and containers which again protects the hyginiety.

We had a very good experience of his service. Mr. Luvkush is very enthusiastic and builds good rapport with all his customers. The most important aspect is that he takes valuable feedback about the taste and quality of his services.

OUR SUGGESTIONS

Mr Luvkush has adopted the low cost strategy but by adopting differentiation strategy he can mould his business.

We suggested him to serve the same golgappas in a innovative way by introducing new flavours and taste to it.
