Definition: Training is the act of increasing the knowledge and skills of an employee for doing a particular job.
Training means giving information, knowledge and

education in order to develop technical skills, social skills and administrative skills among the employees.

Importance Of training
Training creates a feeling of confidence among the

employees. It gives personal safety and security . Provides opportunity for quick promotion and selfdevelopment. Training develops adaptability among employees. It updates their knowledge and skills . Training develops positive attitude towards work assigned and thereby creates interest and attraction for the job and the work place.
