FONTThe font that is used is serif font, which represents how this is simple but effective music and

stands out to the intended demographic of teenagers and young adults. The colour of the serif font VIBE is bright blue to represent how the main artist in this magazine is a male and that is the majority of the target audience. However, in order to not be gender biased they have used a feminine colours such as pink to reach out to the female viewers as well.

COLOURThe limited variety of colour used such as blue, pink and grey make the are used so that it draws attention from the target audience. The unequal colour balance between pink and blue demonstrate how although hip-pop is listened to by both the female and male gender, it is still a male dominated industry.

MIS-ENE-SCENELAYOUTThe way the magazine cover has been laid out mages the image of Kanye West a primary focus, this picture has been blown up to the size of the paper in order to draw maximum attention from all intended audience ages 16-30, as Kanye West is a renowned hip-hop artist his face and music will be recognised by all walks of life.
The lighting that has been used is dim to show how Kanye West and hip pop is meaningful music that everyone can empathise with. The props that have been displayed is his clothes with is a casual cardigan, too represents that although he may be wealthy and famous he still has a very laid back and casual personality. The bright coloured collar shows that he also has a vibrant and adventurous personality.

FONTThe title font is a sans-serif font, which therefore makes it bold and eye catching to the intended audience of young women interested in hip-pop and RnB music. Furthermore, further down the page there are a variety of serif fonts which demonstrate the femininity of the article and how that is the target audience.

COLOURThe colour that has been used for all the fonts on the page is black, as it stands out from the bright/plain background colour, therefore making it easy to read and straight to the point. The colour of the two girls dresses are very plain, with various natural colours.

LAYOUTThe layout that has been used on this content page is very plain and simple so it is legible and allows the image of the two girls to be the primary focus. Moreover, all of the information that has been displayed is on the left hand side of the page so it is easy to read and find.

Furthermore, the sub heading How High? whish is presented in serif font is a metaphorical question as it indicates how he is also a drug user and how this has an influence of his music. The two main colours that are used are black and yellow have connotations of his race and his boldness and uniqueness in the hip-pop industry . They are also used to represent his number one hit Black and Yellow which he renowned for. The black background that is used in the image if Wiz Kalifa is used to make the smoke stand out demonstrating his laid back personality, allowing the demographic of young teenagers to empathise with him and show that success is always possible.

The way that the publishers have decided to use an image of the artist Wiz Kalifa on one page represents his overall popularity and large fan base. The image of Wiz Kalifa smoking shows his rebellion towards society and that he will smoke even if it is portrayed as a negative thing. On the right page the title WK shows his individuality and is used as an acronym to show how when his fans first notice the heading they automatically realise who the article is about.

The bright colour red that Is used on the background on the letter Q, has connotations of power, passion and romance indicating that Lady Gaga is a major sex symbol in the music industry.

LAYOUTThe publishers have placed the image of Lady GAGA in the centre of the page as she is known worldwide, making her of primary focus. The positioning of the lexis Q is placed in that position in order to stand out, the red background stand out from the lighter background that is used for the rest of the magazine.

Furthermore, as the title is presented in a small font it is not very eye catching. The variety of pictures that are displayed on this contents demonstrate the variety of ages that Q magazine cater to.

FONTThe serif font used in the top right hand corner of the second page is used to introduce the remaining text and how It will be about her music. The font used is very feminine, appealing to woman of all ages, expanding her fan base. The large L is used to demonstrate a softer more relaxing side of Lady Gaga, rather then the chaotic side we are exposed to in the media.

COLOURThe simple colour pallet that has been used in this double page spread is used to show a contrast in her personality. As the letter L is in red which is the most dominant colour, it also stands for an abbreviation of her name Lady and how she has a feminine side to her. The L is also used to show how the entire text will be about and her life in the music industry.

LAYOUTThe large image of Lady Gaga on the left page, highlights how she is a passionate character, her flirtatious body language represents how she is an emotion and loving character and aims to reach out to all her fans. The blocked paragraphs presented on the right page imply how this will be about her life as an artist. These pages also have a very sophisticated layout, makinh it legible.

Further down the page the publishers have used a serif font for the artist name Pitbull, the bold, white font that we are presented with shows his strong male dominance, how his music is of paramount importance to him.

COLOUROn this front cover the most dominant colour that I used is red. This vibrant colour has connotations of passion, anger and love, therefore reaching to a wider audience of both male and female gender. Furthermore, the remaining colours such as yellow and white, are contrasting colours that are used in order to stand out from the dark background/clothing that Pitbull Is wearing.

MIS-ENE-SCENELAYOUTThe layout of this front cover is very simplistic as there is limited fonts and colours used, which makes the main image of the artist the main concept which is shown by his strong body language and mysterious facial expressions. The The clear and simplistic layout that is demonstrated makes the front cover and various displays of texts eligible. The publishers have positioned the image of the artist Pitbull in the centre of the front cover making it the primary focus, further emphasising his male dominance.

FONTFirstly, the sans-serif simple font that Is used in the heading of the page, has been used for overall simplicity, representing how this magazine has a wide fan base and is easily eligible. The remaining fonts that are used for all the separate sub-headings are in capital letters giving it an interesting edgy look.

COLOURThere a very basic colours that are used which represent how the information is about one artist. The vibrant colour orange that I used for the separate sub-headings is used to brighten up the page and stand out from the remaining black font that is used and the dull cream background. The artist Lil Wayne is wearing a bright coloured shirt representing his down to earth whilst drinking a milk shake not representing his true wealth or his core passion for music.

LAYOUTThe publishers have used a list technique in two columns to display all the different information that will be in the magazine. The have placed the image of the artist Lil Wayne representing how the information will initially be about himself.
