INTRODUCTION
This is an automated software system written in C++ programming language for Hospital Management which can handle details for patients.

Users can add, edit and delete the patients and manage their detail

Programmer can create new patient account, list all the details and show information about an individual details.

EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system which is not computerized and is full of weakness as listed below: 1. Manual maintenance of the database is tiresome job and lacks accuracy. 2. A lot of time is wasted when we have to find some records and require a lot of manual efforts.

3. Manual updating of registers again require time, manpower as well as good writing skill. 4. Updating of a record means deleting the record from existing place and re- adding at some new location, otherwise it will make database untidy. 5. There is chance of redundancy and hence wastage of time..

PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system makes efficient use of the present technology and has taken into consideration all the weakness of the existing system. The system fulfils the following tasks: 1. It is a computerized and hence makes it easy to maintain data. Data can be easily updated and modified i.e. add, delete.

Data can be easily viewed by everyone.

FEATURES OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM

1.) The user who is using the new system can move particular records by just entering the record number previous, first and the last.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

1. This project simplifies the job of creating and tracking the details of patients by computerization of whole existing system. 2. This project makes database computerized and thus easy to access and maintain, instead of maintaining database manually. 3. If in the future , any modification needs to be made in the project, it can be done easily, because the modules used in the project can be extended.
