Limit in the filmmakers imagination is compensated by those special effect. Entertainment world gets a new dimension by adding special effects in fantasy.
These advancements can greatly add to the effect of a movie on the audience and they do, admittedly, add a higher level of interest, shock and awe to a movie that would be mediocre at best without excellent effects.
Special effects, one of the most important components of a movie, provide people different types of sensations and entertainment that add to the plot and the message of the movie. Blue screen, computer animation, and pyrotechnic effects have shown the most progress in filmmaking over the past years and have revealed themselves through recently movies such as Spiderman, Lord of the Rings, Happy Potter, Shrek, and Transformers.

Every now and then theres an Inception out there to save the sanity of moviegoers, but you have to shift through the rest of the movies with mindless violence to find them. Special effects are not to blame for this shift in movie stories, but they are a possible factor. There is an over-reliance on special and visual effects as a substitute for good storytelling.
The birth of these effects captivated people in their day and have since enhanced the industry of movie-making in some ways and hindered it in others. Many movies now lack substantial plot and character development.
Some stunts may influence immature brains of society & may put anyone to prevail in dream world which in turn reduce creativity & realistic thought.
