According to a Buddecomm report (2008), Bangladeshs television households are served by more than 2000 cable operators. Among the programs

These people or respondents are mainly aged housewives who do not have to do many household chores. On the other hand people who watch TV 3 hours they are mainly entertainment lovers.

In this factor, we have found that most of respondents agreed that they consider news bar. Due to political and economical instability we have to regular connect with news. But it is really difficult for us to watch news hourly basis. So news bar creates a great opportunity for us to regularly update with certain situation. For this, most of our channels emphasizes on showing news bar with current update.

Some people like adult sometimes watch talk-show but most of respondents do not emphasis highly talk show to choose a channel. Although some talk-show programs got popularity among the people, most of the programs are politically biased. So, we can say that talkshow is not a vital factor to choose a particular program.

After analyzing this likert scale, we have seen that most people like to switch other channel in case of politically biased programs. Political instability is a major problem in our country. Most of the owner of TV channel is politician. They are regularly showing their biased in different programs. Finding no other way most of the viewers just change the particular channel to avoid biased program.

Although different channel are showing educative program regularly, they can not afford to make these educative programs interesting and sophisticate. As a result, people do not think TV channel as a source of educative information.

Most Bangladesh TV channels show programs that are very much similar in nature. Therefore viewers of these days are fed up with the ordinary programs. The research says us most of the respondents spend more time on new channels to explore something new form of the channel.

As it has been found that most of the respondents choose TV channels to entertain themselves. So, entertainment should be the main focusing point of electronic media. It can be recommended that TV channels should develop creative thinking in case of entertainment program. As most of the viewers are becoming more addicted toward foreign entertainment program, TV channels should analysis the influencing factors of foreign TV channel then our TV channels can include these factors in their program by maintaining our culture. Most of the TV channels of our country randomly telecast their programs without considering individual preference. Thats why they can segment their programs according to viewers preferences. Most of the talk-show programs are based on political issues. So, to enhance viewers acceptability in order to choose particular TV channels, variation in the topics of talk-show programs should be included. As it is seen that people obviously dislike political biased programs. So TV channel should lesser the partiality in case of telecasting only TV programs. Besides, TV channels should present the actual occurrence of current situation.

As the respondents of the research expressed that they are not getting any enjoyable and knowledgeable live program, TV channels should invite most popular celebrities as guest to enhance the attractiveness of the live program. By including more sports event like- cricket, football, matches in live telecast. TV channels can also enlarge the acceptability of live program. From the research it is assumed that most of the people like interval free entertaining program. By considering the likelihood, TV channels should introduce more break free program to attract each viewer. Moreover, less amount of interval and less amount of advertisement might be fruitful in this regard. Almost all the TV channels of Bangladesh telecast similar type of entertainment programs e.g. movies, dramas, serial etc. that create monotony and boredom among viewers. In order to enhance the quality of the channels, TV channels should choose the qualitative programs that use ultramodern technology, shows creativity, present realistic character and variation in choosing actress. The research showed us that most of the respondents spend more time to explore new channels performance, which in introduction stage should telecast something new and exception programs to catch the attraction of new explorer and make him/her loyal to the channel.

Throughout the survey, we have identified and discuss various factors, but there are some strong factors which have enormous effect in choosing a channel to watch. From the overall research, at the end of the day we have found the following best five factors: Use of news bar Qualitative program Interval free Educative program Live telecast.

That means people of different tests watch TV for the fulfillment of different tests. Identifying these tests has turned out to be a crying need for Bangladeshi TV channels and electronic media now-a-days. It needs no telling that electronic media and TV channel personals quite often arrange new programs but these programs hardly meet up the required demand of their viewers. No matter how new the program is, they will end in vain unless and until they satisfy the latent demand of the viewers. So we would like to finalize our research with the hope that the electronic media will try to identify their viewers desired demands and act accordingly in order to keep pace with the rest of the world.
